Thomas Olivers is Dead

This Day in History:  March 7th, 1799 Thomas Olivers died.  Olivers was an itinerant Methodist minister, author of hymns, and the editor of the Arminian Magazine.  He was dropped from the position by John Wesley for numerous printing errors in 1789.  His most famous hymn is “The God of Abraham Praise.”  If you would like to hear his most famous hymn, click the following link:
